Occupational therapy is a treatment to help people live as independently as possible.
Occupational therapists work with people of all ages who, because of illness or injury need assistance in learning skills to help them lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives.
Occupational therapists can also prescribe, if necessary, devices and therapy equipment to help you do the activities you want and need to do. This includes modifying your office and/or home to help make your daily tasks easier. They will make sure you can use the device in the best way to meet your needs. This means that you will get a total solution and not just a product.
Our Occupational therapists meet the relevant registration requirements outlined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Our therapists have a variety of experience providing quality occupational therapy assessment and interventions within the hospital, rehabilitation, private and community settings to a range of client populations. Our therapists are committed to utilising and contributing toward evidence based practice.
